10. Bold Park Aquatic Centre


The Bold Park Aquatic Centre is a modern, first-class aquatic facility that offers an exciting range of swimming and group fitness activities. The centre is located at 215 The Boulevard, City Beach, about 2 kilometres from Churchlands Green. Originally constructed in 1975, the centre underwent a major refurbishment in 2015.


This redevelopment included a renovation and extension of the main pool, construction of a new covered leisure pool, an entry building housing the crèche, a cafe, change rooms, swim shop, pool administration facilities, and the expansion of the existing car park and entry road.

9. Jackadder Lake Reserve


Jackadder Lake Reserve is located at 9 Jackadder Way, Woodlands and is only 2 kilometres from Churchlands Green. The reserve is ideal for family activities, exercise, and for simply enjoying nature.


In August 2023, the main playground was refreshed with new climbing equipment, a new and improved juniors area, and new picnic facilities. Other amenities at the reserve include public toilets and a pedestrian path network. The reserve is also across the road from Woodlands Shopping Centre.

8. Herdsman Central


Herdsman Central is located at 5 Flynn Street in Churchlands, just 1.5kms from Churchlands Green. This small shopping precinct includes a variety of shops and services including the Churchlands Post Office & Newsagency, Churchlands Optical, Greenleaf Pharmacy, the Herdsman Medical Centre, and many others.


The main shopping attraction of Herdsman Central though, is the Herdsman Market. From its humble beginnings in the late 1970s, this market has evolved into one of Perth’s premier food markets. It offers fresh local produce, a gourmet butcher, an artisan bakery, fresh-cut flowers, local line-caught seafood, and barista-made coffee.

7. Floreat Forum


Floreat Forum was opened in 1965 and was Perth's first ‘American-Style’ shopping Centre. This meant that for the first time in Western Australia, all the variety and convenience of city shopping could be found in the one suburban location.


Floreat Forum has undergone many changes since its opening, including the addition of a new restaurant and dining precinct in 2003. This area features a selection of alfresco restaurants, lifestyle and homewares retail outlets, and a gym.


As of November 2024, the WA Planning Commission is currently considering two different proposals for a major redevelopment of Floreat Forum.

6. Bold Park


Bold Park is located on Perry Lakes Drive, City Beach and is a true sanctuary for nature lovers and exercise enthusiasts. With ocean views and an abundance of Western Australia’s unique wilderness, Bold Park was declared an A-class reserve on the 10th August 1998.


Bold Park is one of the largest remaining bushland remnants in Perth, covering 437 hectares. The park includes a number of walking trails as well as the Reabold Hill Summit Lookout which is 85 metres above sea level. From here, you can see the Indian Ocean, Perth city, Rottnest Island, Kings Park, and even glimpses of the Swan River.

5. Floreat Beach


Floreat Beach is a popular, white sandy beach located just off West Coast Highway, in the suburb of City Beach. It is only 4.5 kilometres from Churchlands Green and includes lawned picnic and barbecue areas, a large nature playground, a café/kiosk, and beach volleyball courts.


As of January 2025, the Town of Cambridge is currently developing a Masterplan for Floreat Beach. This plan aims to improve the amenity, visual character, and access to the beach whilst protecting the coastal environment.

4. Westfield Innaloo


Westfield Innaloo is located at the corner of Scarborough Beach Road and Ellen Stirling Boulevard, just 3 kilometres from Churchlands Green. It is an iconic shopping destination in Perth's northern suburbs, with the latest from the world's leading retail brands.


Westfield Innaloo also includes the Innaloo Cinema Centre, located at 57 Liege St, on the other side of Scarborough Beach Road.


Westfield Innaloo was originally known as the Innaloo Shoppers Village which opened in 1967. Today Westfield Innaloo contains 171 stores including Coles, Woolworths, Spudshed, Target and Kmart.

3. Wembley Golf Course


Wembley Golf Course is less than 3 kilometres from Churchlands Green and is one of the best public golf facilities in Australia. The complex is a purpose-built public facility that leads the nation in design and functionality.


Wembley Golf Course is located at 200 The Boulevard, Wembley Downs. The entire complex includes 36 holes of golf, an automated driving range, mini golf, a state-of-the-art club fitting studio, golf shop, restaurant, bar & cafe, and a kids playground. At 300 Acres Restaurant & Bar, you can enjoy stunning views, exquisite Australian cuisine, and a relaxed lounge area. At Ambrose Estate you can host your corporate events, weddings, or private parties in beautiful function spaces.

2. City Beach


City Beach ranks as one of Perth's best beaches and is easily accessible from Churchlands Green - just 5 kilometres away. City Beach offers beautifully landscaped recreational areas with a children's playground, barbecues and picnic tables, as well as toilets, change rooms, and outside showers.


City Beach contains expanses of white sand as well as two purpose-built groynes for fishing and safe swimming. The beach is also popular for surfers and surf life-saving carnivals are held here regularly.


Clancy's Fish Bar and Voyage Kitchen are two of the most popular restaurants at City Beach. These restaurants overlook the water and allow you to relax while enjoying the sunset into the Indian Ocean.

1. Herdsman Lake Regional Park


Herdsman Lake Regional Park is a stone's throw from Churchlands Green and is walking distance from the estate. Herdsman Lake is a magnificent wetland oasis and takes out our number one attraction around Churchlands Green.


Herdsman Lake is popular for picnicking, exercising, or for those who simply want to enjoy the serenity of the lake. For those into bird watching, over 150 species have been recorded at the lake. The Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre, located on the southern side if the lake, is a unique place for school groups, community groups, and the public to reconnect with nature.


Also part of the Herdsman Lake Regional Park is the Herdsman Lake Settlers Cottage which is located on the western side of the lake. This cottage gives you a glimpse of what life would have been life for early settlers. Herdsman Lake Regional Park also includes children's playgrounds, public tennis courts, and extensive cycle paths.
