University Avenue is named after Edith Cowan University (ECU) that previously existed on the Churchlands Green site.

University Avenue forms one of the main entry roads into Churchlands Green. It runs off Empire Avenue (to the west) and connects to Alumni Terrace (to the east). It also connects to Coneflower Corner, Lucida Lane, Honeypot Way, Paperheath Parade, and Nuytsia Lane.

One of the most prominent streets in the estate, University Avenue runs along Edith Cowan Reserve and is home to 16 houses - many of which look out onto the serene Churchlands Bushland.

One of the notable features on University Avenue is the grand home at 2 University Avenue. This property has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and sits on 719m2.
